I dont plan on machining the block. I'm going to reuse all of the original parts. The only thing that went wrong on the first engine was a piston ring. It losed compression so the engine was replaced under factory warranty. All I plan on doing is getting a single factory piston and putting it back together.
Also the shop here at school has all of the equipment to machine engines. We also get parts at cost through the professor. At first I didnt want to do the engine because of cost. Insted I'll be putting back an engine without using any new parts, other then seals ect.
